The model viewer interface can be used on the Set Sequences screen to select the assemblies to update graphically in the 3D model.

To begin, right-click on the grid and select Model Interface, this will open the Model Viewer Interface screen.  Then filter and colorize the model as desired - by Sequence in this example.

Right-click on the grid on the right side of the screen to access the model interface options:

• Select from Model - Sets the included selection on the right side of the screen based on the objects that are currently selected in the model.
• Enable/Disable Auto-Select from Model - Toggles a mode where a selection can be made in the model and that will automatically be applied to the included selection on the right side of the screen.  The end result is the same as if the selection were made in the model followed by using the Select from Model option.
• Select in Model - Sets the selection in the model based on the line items that are currently selected in the grid.
• Select all in Model - Sets the selection in the model based on the line items that are currently included on the right side of the screen.
• Reset Model Display - Resets the visibility, colors, and zoom position of the model to the original state.
• Model Interface - Opens the Model Viewer Interface screen, if it has been closed.  Additional interaction with the model viewer including filtering and colorization can be done on this screen.

Example

The following is an example of visually setting the lot number assignments for a particular sequence.  First, click the Set Filters button on the Model Viewer Interface screen, set the sequence filter as desired, and click the Apply Filters button.

Un-check the Show parts not in FabSuite option, select to colorize the model by Lot #, and click the Colorize button.

Right-click on the grid on the right side of the Set Sequences screen and select Enable Auto-Select from Model.

Now make a selection in the model, those assemblies will automatically be included on the right side of the Set Sequences screen.

Set the lot # on the bottom-right of the Set Sequences screen as desired, then click the Colorize button on the Model Viewer Interface screen to apply the updated lot # assignments to the model.

Continue in that way - make a selection in the model, update the lot #, colorize the model, and repeat as necessary.
