Remote Link v3.0 - Production and Shipping Batch Update

On the main project page when you click to expand the Production Tracking section you will notice an 'Add - Batch' button to the right of each station.  Click this button to open a the batch update page for that station on a separate browser tab.  The batch update page lists all of the material remaining to be completed for that station.  It is the exact same list as appears if you expand the station and click the Add button - that existing function remains and works as it always has.

The quantity is colored in light grey, showing the total quantity available.  Simply click on the quantity field for the desired records and enter the quantity to update, then select the employee that completed the work.  If the same person completed all of the parts you are entering then select them from the drop-down box at the top of the page so you don't need to select them for every record.  Optionally enter the hours and Batch ID for each record and when you are ready click the Update button at the top of the page to submit the selections to the server.  If successful then the page will update to show only the remaining records and quantities and you can continue with any additional entries.  Other features on this page are:

  • When a drawing file is available the main mark becomes a link to open that drawing.
  • Displays at the top of the page keep a running tally of the total selected quantity and weight.
  • A search box is available at the top of the page where you can enter any text to search by main mark.  Only the records that contain that text somewhere in the mark will be shown.  So you can enter a 'C' and it will only show records that have a 'C' somewhere in the main mark.


A similar 'Add - Batch' option is available under the shipping section as well.  Expand a load that has not yet been shipped and you will find the 'Add - Batch' button directly under the Add button.  It works the same as the production batch update except there are fewer options since shipping does not have the additional entries for completed by, hours, and batch ID.  Also, on the shipping batch update page the quantity and weight already on the load and the capacity is shown at the top of the page along with the total selected quantity and weight and the weight already loaded plus the selected weight.
