Automated Events

Overview

The Automated Events screen shows the events currently in the system, and allows you to create and edit events, as well as run them and view results.
To access the Automated Events window: Maintenance -> Automated Events

Layout

Buttons

  • New Event – Opens the details screen in insert mode
  • Copy Event – Opens the details screen in insert mode populated with all of the details of the selected event
  • Event Properties – Opens the details screen in edit mode for the selected event
  • Run Event Now – Executes the selected event
  • Last Event Status- Opens the event status screen showing the details of the last execution of the selected event or the current real-time status if the event is currently running.
  • Delete Event – Deletes the selected event

Automated Events

Event Running - When an event is running the ID field is highlighted in yellow.

Event Disabled - When an event is disabled the Title field is highlighted in Gray.

Event Successful – When an event has run successfully the Last Run column will be highlighted in Green.

Event Failed - Red highlighted Events indicate that the event failed. Click the 'Last Event Status' button to view the failure information.

 

Indicator at the top of the screen shows if the remote server is running. If it is not running then events will not be executed at their scheduled times.

Remote Server Not Running - When the Remote Server is not running, the dialog is highlighted in red:
