Event Details

The event details screen can be opened from the main automated events screen either in insert (New Event or Copy Event buttons) or in edit (Properties button) mode.

Title - A unique title must be given for the event.

Event Type – Event Type indicates the type of event to be run. Click the down pointing arrow to highlight and selection one of the following options:

  • Database Backup – runs a backup of the FabSuite database and saves it to the default Backup directory.
  • Report – runs one or more reports and either saves them to a directory or sends them to an email recipient list, click the Event Properties button to enter those details.
  • PeddinghausiDSTV+ Cut List Import – Imports iDSTV+ status files from a directory (click Event Properties to select the directory to monitor) to process the completed cut list details. Same action as on the Inventory screen at Inventory > Import > Peddinghaus Cut List.
  • ProNest Inventory Sync – Synchronizes the FabSuite and ProNest inventories. Same action as on the Inventory screen at Inventory > Export > Export to ProNest.
  • ProNest Cut List Import – Imports completed nesting details from ProNest. Same action as on the Inventory screen at Inventory > Import > ProNest Cut List.
  • SigmaNest Inventory Sync – Synchronizes the FabSuite and SigmaNest inventories. Same action as on the Inventory screen at Inventory > Export > Export to SigmaNest.
  • SigmaNest Cut List Import – Imports completed nesting details from SigmaNest. Same action as on the Inventory screen at Inventory > Import > SigmaNest Cut List.

Description – Use the Description box to enter any additional information regarding the event.

Repeat Type – Use Repeat Type to set how often reports are to be run. Either make a selection in the drop-down box of click the Interval/Scheduled tab below.

  • Interval – The event is run regularly on a set interval. Select the units (Minutes, Hours, or Days) and enter the interval value.
  • Scheduled – The event is run at a set time on the specified days. Use the Add, Edit, and Delete buttons to add, update, or remove the scheduled times.

Result History – Opens the result history screen showing the date/time and error message (if the event failed) of each execution. Click to highlight and select a record and click the Details button to see the full details of that execution.

Event Properties – The Event Properties button is enabled when a selected event type requires further details:

  • Report Event - Select the reports to run and either an export directory or a list of email recipients.
  • Peddinghaus iDSTV+ Cut List Import Event - Select a directory to monitor for new status files exported from Raptor.

When Event Properties is clicked, the properties screen opens for that event type.
